Q: I don’t have a
truck so how do I transport the pinball?
Local delivery and
setup within 50 miles of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex is
$100. This includes a ground level delivery and setup in your
home or business. We will then go through the operation of
the machine and answer any questions you might have. We will
deliver up stairs but there is an extra charge to cover the
extra labor, time and expenses.
Q: Can you ship my game to me?
Shipping is not a
problem. We are very experienced in packaging games for
shipment. Our preferred method of shipment is via North
American Van Lines, they are considered the ‘white glove’
movers in the industry. The average shipping cost with
insurance when using North American Van Lines is about $380+/-
to your door. But, we will also work with your freight
shipper to get the deal done. Find more answers about
shipping on our
Delivery & Shipping
page.
Q: How do I get service if I need it?
We’ll get you taken care of. Not everyone
wants to work on a pinball machine and we service what we
sell. Whether it is onsite or in our shop we can keep it
running.
Q: My pinball is not working right & I didn’t get it from
you.
Will you service it?
We do accept
service work in house on solid state games. We do not work on
EM (electro-mechanical) pinballs but can refer you to a great
EM tech. From a simple problem to a complete tear down and
shop out, if you can bring the machine to us we can get it
going.
Q: Why the name Elevation Games?
My main profession
is in the elevator trade, it is where I got my background in
electronics and is ultimately the reason I can play with
pinball machines so I figured why not give the trade a little
credit.
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, if you are
local, a 30 day onsite warranty is offered on all electronic
circuit boards. We will not warrant plastics, switches, toys,
coils, or mechanics. Everything will be working when the game
is shipped. These machines are sometimes 30 years old and 30
years of a little silver ball bouncing around can sometimes
break stuff. We do on occasion have EM pins for sale.
Because of the nature of an EM pinball we do not offer a
warranty on EM's.
Q: I don't
really know what I want. Which should I get?
Some of the best
advice I can give is to find games in the wild and play them,
it will help you to identify your likes and dislikes.
Try the
pinball locater
to find a game close to you. If you are new to pinball
and have no idea what you are looking for give us a call and
let's just talk pinball and try to narrow it down to what will
work for you.
Q: What is the
best pinball ever made?
This question is
asked nearly every day and there really is no one answer to
it. The answer is totally subjective to your own taste.
My favorite game (at the moment) will not be someone else's
favorite. Some players gravitate to flow and speed,
while others want to have a shot oriented games. It just
boils down to the individual player. |
